Introduction

This video interviewing service is provided by VireUp Limited. In order to use this service, you need to agree to our Terms and Conditions.


Changes

We may change these terms. If we make changes, we will notify you through your account and if you continue to use this site you will be deemed to have accepted the changed terms. We may also change at any time the services offered by this site and we may suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason.


Use of this site

This site is for use by employers, recruiters and other interviewers and jobseekers and candidates. It may not be used for any other purposes. Given the purpose of this site, we expect you will behave professionally in posting content, but to be clear, the content you post:

  • must be true
  • must not infringe any laws or any rights of any person
  • must not promote other goods or services
  • must not be offensive.
  • You agree to indemnify us against any third-party claims arising from your use of the site and any content that you post. We may remove any content that you post.

    You may not attempt to subvert the security of this site. You must keep your password confidential and not share it with anyone else.


    Records

    Subject to Liability below, we will retain videos for at least one year from the date recorded, provided that the interviewer maintains a paid subscription. We may delete videos after 60 days from when an interviewer's paid subscription ends. For trial accounts which are not converted to paid accounts we may delete videos 60 days from when the interview is opened to applicants.


    Pricing

    Please contact us to discuss a custom package.

    A person or legal entity may not have more than one trial account. Changes to your subscription should be made through the contact us page.

    Cancellations will take effect from the beginning of the next billing cycle. Downgrades will take effect immediately, but there will be no refund for the current billing cycle. Upgrades will take effect immediately and you will be billed a pro-rata charge for the difference between the rates for the remainder of the current billing cycle.

    Once full payment is received, the service is considered complete.


    Liability

    We do not check the accuracy of content posted by users of this site and we do not accept any liability for such content. You should check any content before relying on it. You are responsible for any content that you post.

    We try hard to keep this site up and running, but sometimes there may be problems. We will also sometimes need to take the site down to do maintenance. We do not accept any liability for outages.

    Overall, the site is provided "as is" and any implied terms are excluded from these terms to the maximum extent permitted by law. We don't accept any liability for any errors in its operation or guarantee any functionality.

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in relation to these terms and your use of this site, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise will be limited to £100 and we will not be liable for any loss of revenue, profits, goodwill, data or business or any indirect or consequential losses so arising.


    Rights to Content

    We claim copyright to this site other than user’s content. You may use this site by reading it in your browser or printing out copies for your personal use, but we reserve all other rights. We do not agree to you framing content on this site.

    You retain ownership of any content that you post to this site (including any data you provide). You grant us a non-exclusive, world-wide, perpetual, irrevocable licence to use and sublicence such content for any purpose in connection with this site and/or any services that we offer. You confirm that you are entitled to grant this licence for any content that you post.

    References to "you" in these terms mean either you where you are acting as an individual or, where you are using this site on behalf of a company or other entity, that entity. Where you are acting on behalf of an entity, you confirm by using this site that you are entitled to enter into this contract on behalf of that entity. There are no third-party beneficiaries to these terms.

    This agreement shall be governed by and construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. In the event of a dispute hereunder, the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.


    Definition of Intellectual Property

    Patents, utility models, rights to inventions, copyright and neighbouring and related rights, moral rights, trade marks , business names and domain names, rights in get-up, goodwill and the right to sue for passing off or unfair competition, rights in designs, rights in computer software, database rights, rights to use, and protect the confidentiality of, confidential information (including know-how and trade secrets) and all other intellectual property rights, in each case whether registered or unregistered and including all applications and rights to apply for and be granted, renewals or extensions of, and rights to claim priority from, such rights and all similar or equivalent rights or forms of protection which subsist or will subsist now or in the future in any part of the world;


    User

    Persons including but not limited to anyone who sees VireUp demo, gains free trial access, attending to a VireUp presentation, candidate who is interviewed in the VireUp platform or anyone who gains access to VireUp confidential information


    Intellectual Property Rights

    User acknowledges that VireUp's rights to the Intellectual Property used on or in relation to the Products and VireUp's business and the goodwill connected with that are and shall remain as the VireUp's property.

    User shall keep confidential and shall not disclose to any third party any intellectual property, questions or other material relating to the affairs or personnel of VireUp, which came to my knowledge as a result of my participation in the interview or otherwise. I acknowledge that the Company shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by me in connection with my participation in the project/interview other than death or personal injury caused by the Company's negligence.
